Looking ahead to Autumn

10 Jul 2018

We start rehearsing again on 10th September and are delighted by our invitation from Sussex Symphony Orchestra to join them and the East Sussex Bach choir in a performance of the Verdi Requiem.   This will be in Brighton at St Bartholomew's Church on Saturday 17th November at 7.30pm.  It is in celebration of the orchestra's 50th anniversary and promises to be a magnificent concert!

On 1st December we return to Burgess Hill to perform Part I of Handel's Messiah, plus the Hallelujah Chorus.  The audience will also enjoy hearing Haydn Missa Brevis and Mozart Excultate Jubilate.

This will be our last concert with Director of Music, Alan Vincent who is retiring from his position with Sussex Chorus.  Alan has led the choir for five years and, in that time, has ensured audiences enjoyed high quality performances and earned the choir some wonderful reviews.

This last concert will be very special and not to be missed!
