It's always great to see our many supporters at concerts and, of course, an enthusiastic audience makes performing a real pleasure. Every ticket we sell is important and valued but the truth of the matter is that ticket sales alone do not cover the costs of putting on high quality concerts.
We're fortunate therefore to be supported by loyal Friends and Sponsors whose generosity helps us maintain an ambitious programme of choral works and able to engage talented soloists and orchestral players for performances. It's also a privilege to ensure our supporters benefit from their generosity, with regular updates about choir activities, free programmes and interval drinks, and their names in concert programmes.
Without these wonderful supporters and our other fundraising activities, we would struggle to survive financially. Here is how YOU could help by becoming a Friend of the choir:
Become a Friend
When a Friend commits to annual donations to choir funds, that assurance is invaluable to the committee and Director of Music as exciting future programmes can be planned with greater confidence. It also means that we can realise our ambition to keep high quality choral music accessible to a wide range of people in our local community by keeping ticket prices and subscription rates at a reasonable level.
